6thNational Law Festival” on March 1 & 2, 2024
CPJ College of Higher Studies & School of Law, Narela (Affiliated to GGSIPU, Delhi), Organized “Loi Fiesta– 2024: 6th National Law Festival” on March 1 & 2, 2024 on the Theme “Social & Welfare Laws: Emerging Challenges & Solutions” on March 1 &2, 2024 at the CPJ College Campus. More than 300 students from 40+ Law Universities/ Colleges Pan India participated in 5 National events, i.e., National Conference, Moot Court, Debate, Judgment Writing and Client Counseling Competitions. On this occasion, Hon’ble Justice Rajesh Tandon, Former Judge, High Court of Uttarakhandand Hon’ble Justice M..L. Mehta, Former Judge, High Court of Delhi were the Chief Guests of the Inaugural & Valedictory Ceremonies on Day 1 & 2 respectively. In addition to this, participating students were also able to get a chance to hear visionary words & thoughts from leading legal luminarieswho graced “Loi-Fiesta-2024″ by their esteemed presence as the honorary Guests/ Judges of all the events that included renowned advocates like Adv. R.S. Goswami, Adv. Murari Tiwari, Adv,. Atul Kumar Sharma, Adv. Rahul Bhandari, Adv. Amit Shukla etc. and eminent educationists likeDr. Nitin Malik, Prof. Prasannashu, Prof. A.P. Singh, Prof. Rakesh Kumar, Prof. Ravinder Kumar, Dr. Vandana Singh, Dr. UpmaGautam, DrHarleen Kaur, Dr. Deepa Kaushik &Dr, Zubair Ahmed.

The Law Festival began with the lighting of the auspicious lamp by the Chief Guest Justice Rajesh Tandon, Guest of Honour Mr. AnkurPanghal, Judge, along with Dr. Abhishek Jain, General Secretary, Dr. Yugank Chaturvedi, Director General and other Dignitaries. Dr. Yugank Chaturvedi gave the welcome address and warmly welcomed the Hon’ble Guests, Dignitaries and all the participants. He motivated the participants to take part in all the competitions with passion and dedication and emphasized that the most important thing is not winning but participating & competing in an event.
The National Conference and prescribed Legal competitions were conducted smoothly& with great zeal from one & all. The final round of Moot Court Competition was judged by a Six Judges Bench presided by Justice M..L. Mehta. The Hon’ble Judges appreciated both the finalist teams for arguments advanced with citations of leading legal casesand complemented them for their excellence.The Winners and the Runners-up of all events were awarded Trophies by the Chief Guest and Dignitaries amid huge applause from the audience.

At the end, the two-day Law Festival concluded with the Vote of Thanks by Ms. Ishmeet Kaur Sodhi, Law Faculty with gratitude to the distinguished guests, organizing team, all participants and all those who contributed to the success of “Loi Fiesta-2024: 6thNational Law Festival of CPJ School of Law, Narela, Delhi.
